Skin Needling / Dermapen
Micro-needling or skin needling is the delivery of micro-needles in to the epidermis (outer layer of the skin) and the Dermis (Deeper level of the skin) creating micro injuries. As a result, the body’s innate reaction to repair itself, is activated, creating a smoother, firmer and more even skin complexion.
Micro-needling assists with the following skin concerns:
– Reduce imperfections
– Reduces Fine lines and wrinkles by promoting the production of collagen and elastin
– Reduces pigmentation and correct hyper-pigmentation
– Reduces appearance of acne scarring
– Minimises pore size
– Assists in delivery method and effectiveness of active ingredients
– Strengthens the skins barrier function
– Improved communication between skin cells
Microdermabrasion and Sonophoresis
Microdermabrasion is a safe and gentle procedure that exfoliates the skin to stimulate new cell growth and the renewal of collagen. Using a gentle vacuum with an abrasive diamond tip, your circulation is improved, delivering oxygen and nutrients to your skin’s cells to revitalise them.
If you can see that your skin is suffering from sun damage, general signs of aging, breakouts, acne or that it has lost its glow and vitality – then Microdermabrasion may be the treatment for you.
A Sonophoresis facial can be customized to suit any skin type and various skin conditions.
Sonophoresis is a process that exponentially increases the absorption of topical compounds (transdermal delivery) into the epidermis and dermis of the skin.
Sonophoresis occurs because ultrasound waves stimulate micro-vibrations within the skin epidermis and increase the overall kinetics energy of molecules making up topical agents.
Sonophoresis is effectively used as an adjunct treatment to peels, facials and/or microdermabrasion’s.
Depending on the products used during treatment, active ingredients are released deep down into the dermis to target the signs of aging, dehydrated skin, photo damage, pigmentation, poor skin texture & acne.
